Is this puzzle WCA legal?

So I bought a YJ MGC elite and it came like this:

Is this legal? The corner cap at the very back is not fully in place. (It still works tho.)

If you cant press it back in you could pop it out, cut a clip that might be blocking it and glue it back on.

I tried that and I think I see the problem:

A thing holding the corner cap in place is broken. I can only assume this happened during shipping as I didn't hear anything break. anyway, I was just wondering if it was WCA legal.

i dont think its legal. but i think that my personal solution would work, it worked when the same thing happened with my Tengyun

Is there any rule that specifically applies to puzzles like this?

the only thing is, it says its significantly distinguishable from any similar piece this happened on my 2x2 and they let me use in comps as long as its not too far up its fine

if its not broken pieces from a 2x2 can come of it however you are able to put them back on just be careful not to break anything on it

Update: I've gotten spare parts shipped so everything is fine now.

Can my cube be a bit scratched? It only is a little scratched and you can only notice it if you look closely.

Yeah. My Qiyi MS was scratched at my last comp and it was fine, so unless its a huge scratch you should be OK
