So my name is Areli, I’m 13 years old, and I’m a girl speedcuber from Chiapas, Mexico.

I was diagnosed with autism as a baby. I was not able to speak until I was ten. My whole life has just been, “Areli, you won’t ever learn how to do this, or that, etc” because they thought just because I was not talking I was stupid.

Before learning how to talk I picked up a Rubik’s cube on my dad’s work desk and started playing with it. I was 7 at the time. I started to get very interested in cubing and watched a video and learned how to solve it. I soon solved all types of them by my 8th birthday.

I can solve all NxN cubes, pyraminx, skewb, sq1, clock, megaminx, actually really everything. I have a gigaminx and I just now solved it after it sat collected dust
I’m sub 15.

Just a little note: I actually had the privilege of meeting Areli at an unofficial online comp. I know she recognized my name, but said a bit more about myself since I just recently met her. She sounds cool from what I’ve heard from her.
