I don’t think I would recommend putting pine tar on your cube.

its a thin clear piece of paper that is instantly dried onto the surface.
I dont have the means to do that

I was thinking a bit about this and I'm wondering if chalk (used for rock climbing) would help to make your hands less sweaty and more grippy, especially at competitions.

Do you really want this stuff inside your perfectly lubed cubes?
I'm pretty sure it won't stay on the outside

Just use a towel to dry your hands and until end of the solve the don't have time to get sweaty again

use super glue
it works like a charm

and don't forget to spray some lube on your eyes for better lookahead
