Working on changing some of my bad habits on clock. It’s increased my times slightly as I adjust, but it will be worth it. Changing how much I regrip or mess with pins.

So I haven’t really made any progress this month in any events. I’ve been very busy with school, and I’ll be even busier with research and grad school applications soon. I’m trying to stay active in cubing, and I do have two comps coming up in April! 2 rounds of clock, so I’m hoping to FINALLY get some really good results.

Got my first podium in a non-clock event today (pyraminx)! I have a round of clock tomorrow, so hoping that goes well. Also managed to pull off a 5:06.xx 7x7 single, though the overall mean was pretty bad due to pops.

I won clock with a 5.76 Ao5! It could have been a VERY low 5, but I ended with a counting 6.8. Regardless, I’m extremely happy with a top 100 global result (Tied for 97th).
Also got PR 3x3 single and Average today along with an official. 5x5 average. Overall an extremely successful comp!

Honestly I thought the only good scramble was the 4th one, every other scramble was bad.

Oh wait were you there?? Yeah I’m not sure how I pulled off a 5.17 on the first one. There was nothing great but it worked out fine!
