Renaming the OLL Algorithms

In german the Sune is referenced quite often as "Fisch" because there are a couple of german beginner tutorials where the "Fish-Move" is used to solve OLL.

I think it's a good method for beginners because you can solve every (2 look) OLL case with a maximum of 2 sune.
Learn all cases for the oriented edges is too much for most beginners and the corner flip method is quite inefficent

When you don't know how to do a (2 step) I'll the you can just spam sunes until you get something you know
oh that was my "method" when I started and by best time was 6min

you mean 1 sune and 1 antisune right? or 3 sunes

I have some posts on the subject

you can even solve any OLL with max 2 sune/antisune variations
the coolest part is that it preserves corner permutation

Yes, Sune and Antisune or 3 Sunes.
For me Sune and Antisune is basically the same because in this cases I teach the beginners to just do a lefty sune instead of the reverse with a different orientation.

But your posts to this topic are very useful. I didn't realize that you can only check the numbers of unsolved corners 🤟
That makes it even easier to remember

Antisune:

that reminds me of this video where the guy asked for names for the direction and the chat named left as right and right as left. it was hilarious
