So I know full COLL (except s and as) and saw on Ruimin Yan's website (cuberoot) that there were some easy zbll cases that I think are worth learning.

My strategy is to learn 1 case, then the mirror, then the inverse, then It's mirror, so 4 at a time.
Here's the pdf: https://cuberoot.me/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/167-ZBLL.pdf

I don't know what will happen with this thread lol, but anyone who's interested in looking at some zbs should stop by!

If you aren’t going to learn ZB by COLL sets, recommend learning easy recog sets like Tripod and Line

I'm also learning a lot of easy to recognise + execute ZBLLs, so I guess best of luck
I'm using speedcubedb.com to learn a lot of algs because they also have reconstructions of top solvers who have used the alg in solves

I'm also working on a ZBLL spreadsheet so if anyone wants to help i be glad to give editing access

how is the progression?

I have an update for this thread for the first time in ages. I’m on about 60 ZBLLs which I know, and I’m halfway through 2GLL too so the plan right now is to finish that set and maybe learn some more easy cases along the way. ‘Easy’ doesn’t have to mean a good alg if the case has simple recog.

I also sort of want some advice going forward. I’m thinking of learning some ZBLS, but restricted to cases which are the same speed as the standard F2L for that case, since if I finish 2GLL I’m 1/4 of the way there if you include PLL (120+Algs) and I feel that the best play is to not learn cases which are slower when I’m not able to take advantage of that.

In case anyone is wondering, I’ve been sub 11 for a long time and I’m averaging low 10 at the moment. I can only plan cross+1/xcrosses about 20-25% of the time in inspection.

Any advice is welcomed!
