Off WR average by 0.33
Don't be sad. This is actually astounding performance, even though Fahmi averages 7.5 at home, there's always comp nerves, and first comp in 2-3 years give worse nerves. Also, other world-class OH people VERY VERY rarely get sub-9 averages. Max gets sub-10 50-60% of the time, Patrick rarely gets sub-10 avgs. Also considering this was the only round in OH, that makes this score even better.
Fahmi's going to Surabaya Open on July 23, we'll see if he gets anything there. (also only one round of OH though)

Idk where you heard that, but Fahmi doesn’t avg 7.5 at home lol. You’d have to have perfect solves every single time

You all are seriously underestimating Fahmi... By his standards this is basically "screwing up". Although it is understandable considering it's his first comp in quite some time. Yes, even though he screwed up, it's WR2. He's that good.

Dude gets literal copypastas about how he's almost guaranteed to get WR, pttting mad pressure on him, then gets **one round** of OH in his first comp in 3 years. Which he rolls up to, gets the WR3 average on demand, even if he kinda choked the first two solves. Goat.

um i main waterman, rowan fortier is a cuber with 3k+ subscribers on youtube and has his own speedsolving wiki page, and someone called me a fahmi fanboy. I only like him bc he dont use cflop

Nah, I just think people idolize him to much. Sure, the guy is insane at oh, but that doesn't mean he's the only one that's good at it, and it also doesn't mean he's infallible.
