2 pieces unsolved on cube

Hey Im new to this forum and im also new to the Rubiks cube *2-3 days* and Im having some problems.

This has happened to me 2 times so far where im doing the last 4 corners and I end up with 2 corners out of the entire cube unsolved.

The next time this happens i will be sure to post a picture but I dont understand why i cant solve the last 2.

Btw I am learning from Dan brown of youtube.

just do what yo would normally do, it doesnt have to be all 4, it just cant be one corner unsolved

Sorry I forgot to add ive not yet solved the rubiks cube except for like 2 times in my mates house with his help which i forgot lol

but its only today ive been able to get the cross / corners / 2nd layers done etc rite up to the last 4 corners but thats when i forget what im doing

Ya I watched it over and over thats how Ive been able to do the first 4 steps so far but im tryng to solve it rite now and see what happens whether or not i get the same problem again.

Did I get you right, that you have problems at the position of the [yellow] edges of the last layer (the algorithm probably is: URU'L'UR'U'L) ??

If its like this, don't worry Did you think of holding the correct edge right and towards you; then you just have to perform this alg. until all edges are on their right position!

P.S.: was the cube correctly solved before scrambling it?
Problems are quiet normal when solving cubes!!!!!

Are the corners in the right place or are they just not flipped the right way?

Ya sorry I forgot to state that they are in the rite place but just not flipped lol

Hold the cube so that one of the unsolved corners is in the front-right-up corner and do R'D'RD until it's fixed. Then twist just the top layer until the second piece is in the front-right-up corner and do R'D'RD until it's solved and then your whole cube will be solved.

So the first two layers are done, your top layer is green, and the cross on green is done (not blue). Correct?

That algorithm cycles three corners around in a circle. If you have *one* corner in the right place, yes, place that corner (by rotating the cube) in the "bottom right of the top face", also known as the UFR position. Then run the cycle once or twice until the other three corners are in the right places.

Yes. First put the corners in the right spots, then use R' D' R D to flip them.

It sounds to me like you didn't put the corners in the right spots before you tried to flip them. But that's just an educated guess. It might help if you typed in complete sentences and gave us a little more information.

Remember, once you get to the corner flipping stage, you start with one of those corners in the UFR position. Once it is flipped, don't rotate the cube. Instead turn the U face until the next corner to be flipped is in the UFR position, then run the flipping algorithm again until it is solved. Repeat until all corners are flipped, and the cube should be a U turn away from being solved.

I got there In the end and now I can do it peace of cake. Now all i have to do is memorize and get a better cube.

I bought a Speedcube of amazon it should be here in a few days, but After reading some comments on here im a bit worried that it may explode or end up being not a speedcube but a slowcube.
