I have really try to know how to do the bld method, but i cant find anywhere that can make it easily for me to solve it blindfolded. Please comment or give me a link that would show me a easily way to solve the blind'folded method, and that has little algorithms to remember

What method's have you tried, and where did you go to learn them? You should mention that so no ones gives you a link you've already seen before.

I always think old pochmann is the best for beginners. There's a minimum of 3 algorithms to learn and 5-6 alrorithms for that method to be optimized. Plus the algorithms for the most part are just standard PLLs, so are useful in speedsolving if you use fridrich method and haven't already learned them.

its funny. I am averaging sub-2:30 now and yet I have been using 3 algs this whole time. How would you have pochmann optimized and from what buffer?

he explains the whole pochmann method where its 5 algs

You would use only 3 algs with the whole old pochmann method (edges+corners)? That would be T and Y, plus R for parity. Then the two J perms in order to save setup moves, the last alg would be the alternate t-perm one that shoots UR to LU. Saying it would be optimized with 6 algs is a mistake, but I don't think that learning new algs will make the method faster. I've tried the ones for corners and I think its faster just to do the Y perm.

Ah, I didn't make myself clear enough. I meant just for corners. I use 3 algs for corners, and of course, M2 for edges.

I just use Y for corners, the other algs just aren't fast enough for me. Actually I do use J-perms for FLU and BRU only, but I think you mean the other corner algs.

ah okay. That's probably a good idea. While the Y takes me sub-2, the other 2 are sup-4.... hmmm.... Wait Ellis, what was your corner memo system again? If it's not pure visual, I think you should really give pure visual another go because I am now averaging sub-13 for corner memo!

If there's a max of 2 setup moves for Y perm corners, I don't see a reason to use slower algs. And I do use just visual for corner memo, the edges are what I couldn't see doing visually. Sub-13 is good... I'm sloww I really need to practice bld more often.

happa95, what is your edges memo time? With visual I can get sub-20 (usually) for edges and sub-10 (usually) for corners. Before starting I go over all the pieces as fast as I possibly can just to make sure I have them (which I 99% time do) resulting in a sub-45 memo and usually sub-40. If I'm fast I can get sub-30.

I know this thread is about the full bld method, but I'm really only good at memo, my execution is terrible. I use visual for edges and corners. Given 1 second to memorize each edge, you can memorize a cycle with 12 edges in 12 seconds, and 8 seconds for the corners. Sometimes it will be longer if you have to break into a new cycle or have flipped edges.

not necessarially solves, because I do memorization only a lot. Yeah, I probably haven't done 1000, but I've only not had them once. I know I've done at least 100, I'll change it to 99%.

Now i get those stuff but when you do blinding and u solve one edges does the other piece u want next always goes to the buffer position?
