Hello, i am new to this forum. I have a Yuxin Little Magic 2x2 and i think a QiYi 3x3. I do not know how to solve a cube. I can almost solve a 2x2 but i have trouble with the second layer. I am from the USA and i play video games. I dont know if you can message on this site but if you can please tell me how to do the second layer of a 2x2.

Welcome! The easiest way to solve the second layer of a 2x2 is by using two algorithms: sune, and t perm.

Sune is R U R' U R U2 R'
T perm is R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F'

Sune twists three corners clockwise (all of them except the top left corner), so just experiment from different angles and repeat it until the top face is solved. Make sure you know what color the top face is supposed to be. It will always be the opposite color of your layer. White is opposite to yellow, blue opposite green, and red opposite orange.

T perm will swap 2 adjacent corners. If you have no swap, then good job, you solved the cube! If you have an adjacent swap, put the bar on the left and do the T perm. Here's what adjacent swap looks like.

If you have a diagonal corner swap, just do a T perm then you will get an adjacent swap.

I hope this helps :D

I am very confused by that but the algorythms i currentlu use idk what the names are but they are U R U’ L U R’ U’ L’ and R’ D’ R D (edit also what way does sun twist the corners?)

I almost solved it

Welcome!
This is cube notation on a 3x3, but it also applies to 2x2 (except middle layer turns like M, S, E) and other N x N puzzles

U = Up
D = Down
R = Right
L = Left
F = Front
B = Back

When you see a ' at the end (R U R' U'), it means that you turn it counter-clockwise when you put that face in front of you.

Make sure you know the notation, and then try the algs that Alex Davison gave you. Let us know if you need any help!

Edit: you can click the "Edit" button which has a pencil next to it on your post which allows you to change or add information instead of double posting which isn't always ideal.
