Hello! I'm a cuber from the US, I got to around 18 seconds with CFOP and now I'm seriously thinking about switching to Roux. I started Roux on new year's day, and I'm already averaging low 30's. Tips welcome. I am into chess and math geeky stuff too lol. Massively into classical piano too so yeah, that's me.

Do you like learning algs and spamming TPS? or do you like efficiency and coming up with creative ways to do blockbuilding? If you like the latter, then Roux might be the way to go. Otherwise, I'd recommend you stick to CFOP. Also, keep in mind that there are considerably more people using CFOP, which means that you will be able to receive more help and advice from others. But it's up to you!

i hate to be prejudiced against roux but in my opinion you should just stay with cfop. When i was averaging around 20s i switched to roux, i didn't get significantly faster, And if you switch back to cfop often times you forget algorithms or are just plain rusty with cfop another thing is that there is not as many modern resources for becoming fast at roux. But thats just me i have nothing against using roux i just believe that cfop can get you to sub 15 like it did to me. i think that if you don't like learning algs than sure. roux could be good for you and its totally up to you this is just my opinion!
