Hi,
My name is Dave and I started speedsolving around 8.5 years ago (early 2012) with some friends in school.
I took a few years break and now starting again.
My favourite cube is probably the 4x4 and I like larger cubes more than e.g. 2x2 or 3x3.

Just checked, I'm around 40 seconds at the moment. My best was 17 I think.

It was a great time Most funny when we started to get more cubes, then when teachers snatched a cube we could just get another one like the 4x4 ^^

I didnt have that many cubes, but you did that well xD especially when your cube popped right when the lessons started

Thanks I use the Yau Method with 3-2-3 edge pairing.

Well remember this was over 5 years ago. I was way quicker back then, averaging around the 20 second mark and you're right, there was a bit of luck; in that solve I had no PLL if I remember correctly

Now yes, like 35, 40 Not 5 years ago.
Not 100% sure anymore though, as mentioned
But it was a lot quicker.

yeah that was my avg for a very long time, I think it was before I switched to Fridrich

 

[Cubing Forever]

A 17 PB with a 40s avg is awesome. When I was averaging in the forties my PB was a 31. So maybe some people get lucky and I'm always unlucky lol.
