The clock even has been receiving a lot of hate recently, many people hate on it without even trying. You probably are assuming I like it but. That's not the case. I never really tried or saw it. However, removing an event is really DREADFUL. Many speedcubers have dedicated their time to a specific thing and then all of their progress vanishes as if it never really existed. let alone the world-class speed feet cubes. Okay, folks would you trade clock for having to get cubing with feet back?

absolutely NOT. The WCA removed feet for a reason, and now you're asking them to add back that same event and instead remove an event which seems like it's actually making it's comeback in terms of hardware with the ssm clock and hopefully soon the qiyi.

I haven't done clock EVER and for some reason even I don't like the decision of removing clock...
EDIT:
Especially since brands have been investing in newer mechanisms and feels for the clocks. The WCA have already made their decision and I don't think they're bring back feet for a while, maybe even never

Ummmmmm no.

Same. I am planning on getting a clock soon, though.

so the shengsou one is better than the lingao?
I do remember the Shengshou Clock not being as great but I have only experienced this through media items.
Anyone going to prove me wrong/right?
TheCubicle's review made it sound like it's basically a LingAo with magnets.

Agreed.

Wait a second... You said that clock got undeserved hate and then proceeded to give it undeserved hate.
However, removing an event is really DREADFUL.
This statement is what enrages me the most. You would have to remove clock to add feet. You just contradicted your whole argument!

That would happen to all the people who work hard for clock, and, besides, that's why WB exists. It's not going to change the fact the hard work was ruined. just gonna change who suffers.

I don't think he was hating, he probably meant that he hasn't formulated an opinion on clock since he has neither touched nor seen a clock in his life. Almost as if he is saying he neither likes nor dislikes it, because he hasn't tried it yet

Maybe I misunderstand, but it seems to me that Cubeaddicts 101 was making an argument that it would be bad to remove clock.

I suspect what was meant by this cryptic question: "Okay, folks would you trade clock for having to get cubing with feet back?" was actually the idea of asking those who want clock to go away to see if they would be willing to have feet come back as a part of the package of removing clock. The idea was asking if the clock haters actually hate clock so much that they'd rather have feet than clock. Is that not what was meant by the question?

Meaning, Cubeaddicts 101 wasn't hating on clock at all - in fact, it was the opposite - this was actually something of an attempt to support keeping clock.

Read it again and I have to agree with you.

Huh. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Seems viable.
