Well, I can do it too.

1. The lookahead isn't that hard, you just have to work on looking for different pieces as you are solving another (something I need to work on, too).
2. Megaminx scrambling isn't that hard and there are only 6 moves that you can even do, less than 3x3. (U, U', R++, R--, D++, D--)
3. 4LLL is only 18 algs, about 7 or 8 that are used regularly on 3x3.
4. I just do it, it's not that hard.

Skewb is the worst event, it's just a fact. Pyraminx is okay, but still not great because


EDIT: Like @Sub1Hour I respect the people who are able to do it really fast, I just personally hate how the puzzle turns, and how hard it is to fingertrick.

OOF so close.

I am finished with CP algs. I am learning 2 algs a day for Megaminx PLL, I am learning the EPs first.

Also, I decided to do my weekly updates on Friday because that works better for me.

EDIT: Also just got a pure sub 50 average of 5.

Ah, I have seen you have chosen to join me and @CuberStache in the black sided gang. How are you liking the contrast? Also congrats on a new PB! I can't believe how fast that you have improved in megaminx, im sure that no one (aside from those on these forums) will be ready for you to start taking podiums in mega! What are your splits looking like as of right now?

Yup I decided to add black, my LL recog is so much better now! I sometimes have problems filtering it out in S2L, but that has gone away mostly.

My splits are:

17 F2L
27 S2L
8 LL

I have been working on my first S2L block a lot lately, it usually takes around 10 seconds which I think is to high for what I average.

Weekly updates:

Megaminx (week 3):

This week I worked on my F2L and S2L efficiency as well as learning PLL algorithms. I know 2 look PLL now and am almost done with the EPLL cases, I have done U and Z, I still have Q left. My times are around 52-53 on average, and I also got a 51.88 average of 100. Megaminx is my favorite event now.

OH (week 5):

I learned a couple more circlets, I have 4 more left (I forgot some of the ones I learned last week)




I have been doing 100-150 solve on Megaminx every day, which is leaving me practically no time for YruRU practice. This week I am going to do more like 50-75 solves each day so I can spend closer to an hour on YruRU.
