Will I waste my money if I order all this? I mean, is it a good buy?
I'm sorry but I dont want to fritter away $50 on stuff that wont be quality, so I figured I'd ask here first.:)
Thank you. :D

I'd lose the type f if you have a half decent 3x3x3

Please explain

To me, more practice will make you way better than upgrading your cube. No disrespect meant to type f's.

Well, I am going to a competition and I need a more reliable cube. I have a Type A, DianSheng combo and it locks a lot. DianSheng core with A cubies.

I'd only get a Type F to make a hybrid with a Diansheng, I can't say the same for the C4Y cube. mf8 Square-1s are good, but the top and bottom will be stiff when you get it.

I have a DianSheng No.222 core.:D

So the question rests on whether a type F/DianSheng or C4Y cube would be best for me.

If anyone could answer this question it would be greatly appreciated. As a guideline, I prefer:

few POPs,
NO lock ups,
good corner cutting

Thank you again!

Edit: Or should I just buy both and find out? - $50
Just C4Y - $38
Just Type F - $41

haha that last description...that's a description of the perfect cube... I'd recommend this http://cgi.ebay.com/Speed-Cube-Type...wItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262#ht_5356wt_696

it's a bit on the expensive side and is definitely more expensive than it was wen i bought it...however, it's an excellent buy. If you set he proper tension, it will not pop. If you lubricate it properly, it will cut corners amazingly well. Lastly, as the pieces are rounded instead of square-cut, there are much fewer lockups.. I get around 2 lockups that last about half a second around every 20 solves or so..

He already has a type a.

maxcube, I would go for $50 and test out the cubes. But it's your choice.

Whoa, PuzzleProz raised their prices. I have that same cube. I put the cubies in my DianSheng core. It feels better to me. I'll go compare the times between the two.
