What is the average cuber like? Google form

[divingcuber]

Hi all. If you would like to help me make a video and contribute to the cubing community plz fill out this form.

What is the average cuber like

This is a survey to determine what the average cuber is like. Brody the cuber did a video like this a while back, but it is now out of date, so i'm doing one for my channel. My channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq2C9hd-eySOOE-ZtDmFw8w/videos

I know Brody made a video like this a while ago, but his is old and out of date.

Also plz subscribe to my channel if you want to see when I make a video. Also, I will be doing a giveaway at 100 subs.

"Are you subscribed to my channel" lol. Done.

The question below should be updated to add 0 as an option. I skipped it because 0 was not an option but i could not submit results without choosing an answer. I choose 1 even though my true answer is 0.

[Cuberstache]

While you're at it, 5+ as the highest option isn't the best. I have 48 comps lol. I think better choices would be something like

0
1-5
6-10
11-20
21-30
31-50
50+

Survey done anyway

Done, i recon there should be less self promotion because how is knowing if people are subscribed to you channel going to determine what the average cuber is like

The average cuber isn't a member of this forum.

How many years have you been cubing? Looks at longest option 4+. I have cubed for 11 years. How many comps biggest option is 5+. I have been to 31 and that isn't a lot. It is by nz standards but NZ people don't generally complete aborad much unless they live there. Being an very isolated island and all.

Right! You aren't getting an idea of what the average cuber is like—instead, this survey answers the question of "What is the average cuber who is an active member of the Speedsolving Forums like?", and that's bound to give very different results.

Please make different options for comps been to. I have been to 8, whereas other people have been to over 50

I think people have criticized the form plenty, so it's no surprise that there are some things that are pretty lacking but I digress.
I enjoyed the video a lot more than I thought I would. The editing was also surprisingly very youtuber-esq, and in that regard, you did a really good job. I think most small youcubers have pretty straight forward videos without the little cuts and the zooms.

You should have a section on what method people are using for 3x3

People already know more accurate percentages then a form of this nature been show.
