There is no (what I know) list of the best solving-times, only rankings.
So here it is, the 10 best official single solving-times (so far):

7.08 Erik Akkersdijk 2008
8.66 Edouard Chambon 2008
8.72 Yu Nakajima 2008
8.72 Yu Nakajima 2008
8.86 Milán Baticz 2009
8.90 Erik Akkersdijk 2008
8.91 Rowe Hessler 2008
9.13 Rowe Hessler 2008
9.18 Edouard Chambon 2008
9.21 Tomasz Zolnowski 2008

He had the same time for 2 solves in the same competition..in fact i think it was in the same average of 5 which is the WR
Why think when you can check that you're wrong?
That's why we HAVE such a usable database.

I still think that getting the EXACT same time in the same competition in a row is incredible...it is also good since it helps his average because they will have to take away one of the 8.72's ;)
Uh, how much of that is supposed to be hypothetical.

If you care about only 2009, you can check here:

I wonder why ;)

Weird thing about that list is that the top 3 are Europeans while just a little further down the list many other countries are common. I guess that continues the trend for 3x3x3 where the level all around the world (well, Europe, North-America and Asia) seems very equal, but the best of the best are European

Fine, I was being lazy and didn't bother to check..but I was sure the 2 solves were in the same competition and that was the point I was trying to emphasize..

and btw I did check and it turns out they were not in the same average of 5..in fact the WR average didn't even have an 8.72 solve..my bad..
