so im trying to figure out which to leran first: full oll or pll. i currently use 4lookll
and i average about 35 seconds. which to learn first?

PLL, like said earlier.
But there are some *really* fast and easy OLLs, like T-shapes, learn them first, if you wish.
Also note that some PLL algs, like T or Y, can include OLL algs in them, learn them first too.

I'm at this point as well, but I'm just wondering, since there are so many oll cases, why is it so important to learn pll first if you don't know how to do oll? Is there a trick to keep getting the same easy olls?

PLL's are harder to recognise so you should really start to learn that first so you have more time to practice them

yeah use 2 look oll

What about 2 alg OLL?

For a complete order to go from 4 alg last layer to 2 look last layer:

By learning only a few algorithms you can complete the OLL in two steps (edges then corners or the other way around if you please). So that way you don't need to know all of the OLLs to be able to use a OLL/PLL technique.

PLL, most definitely. Nobody's going to tell you to learn OLL first. Just learn enough OLLs to be able to do them in 2 looks. People have gotten their average down to sub-20 using 2 look OLL.

PLLs are also useful for BLD, if you ever get into that.

4LLL means you probably know 10 OLL's and 7 PLLs. Thus, learning 14 PLL algs turns two looks into one, while you would have to learn 47 OLLs to get the same effect.
