[Help Thread] The "What order should I learn algorithms?" Thread

So, I am consistently sub-5 with Ortega on 2x2, and I am wondering which CLL algs I should learn first. This thread can also serve as help for anybody who wants to know what algorithm set(s) they should learn next.
so I asked this question a couple weeks back on discord, and actually some people said to learn EG-1 before CLL. It actually makes sense though because if you solve a face you're much more likely to have 2 adjacent corners swapped then solved corners or diagonal corners so it would overall improve your times more than learning just CLL would.

Good order of learning PLLs(I didn't do it quite this way but close):

4LLL(I recommend T, Y, and EPLLs)
Ja
Jb - Basically a T
F - Basically a T
Na - Basically a Jb
Aa
Ab
Ra
Rb
E
V
Nb
Gs

That's my opinion at least. Reason I reccomend Gs last is because they're the hardest to learn and are annoying generally. They aren't that bad to reognize(watch BrodyTheCuber's vid on making G Perm's easy), but they're pretty much undisputed the worst PLLs

No, S and AS can be weird(I've looked through 3x3 CLL and started learning it). Start with H, then Pi, U, T, L, then finally S/AS in any order you like
You think so?
I think they are the easiest and you only have to learn one alg set to know both because of mirrors (Take this from a guy who learned it once, forgot it and relearned it).

Edit: I'm pretty he is talking about 2x2 CLL not 3x3 COLL, I totally agree if it was COLL but 2x2 S and AS are super easy.

I'm aware he's talking about 2x2, I was just saying I have a decent amount of experience because of 3x3 CLL(not COLL), because I still use LBL for 2x2 lol. Anyway, maybe you're right; I've never been great at mirroring/inverting algs. I guess it's just up to him to just look at the recognition and see what he thinks makes more since for him

Right, It confused me when you said 3x3 COLL was harder for S and AS (I totally agree), so my question is why did 3x3 COLL come up in the first place?

Thanks!

Edit: also, I know 3x3 COLL so the S and AS being hardest makes sense.

With the g plls I use the uw ones.
