Hi, I’m Tim, (Tim, Timothy, or Jimothy is fine, please don’t call me Timmy though) I’m 14 years old and my main events are 3x3 and 2x2. I also like to solve OH but I’m not too good at it. For 3x3 I average 16 seconds, 2x2 5ish seconds, OH 35 seconds. I use CFOP and Ortega as my methods. Besides cubing I enjoy playing Tetris and Mario Kart Wii and I love camping and fire. Also, phineas and ferb is my favorite show; I can quote it in tons of scenarios. I would like to get into megaminx in a couple of months and 5x5 eventually but I am aiming to be sub 12 before venturing into big cubes. Hmm... not sure what else to put on here so I guess I’ll just ask a question. Is the gan xs better than the x? If so, why? Looking forward to being active in this community. Welcome! Some people thing the XS is better, but some people also think the X is better. A lot of people also think that the Valk Elite or the GTS3M/WRM are the best. It's all a matter of opinion

Not necessarily. A lot of people like the X and think the XS is awful. I personally haven't tried both, so I don't have an opinion

Nah X and XS are not so great. If you want a good cube get the original Valk 3 M, set up by Angstrom if you want it to be really good.

Welcome to the forums! If I were you I would get a Megaminx because it helps you improve on 3x3 by really challenging your lookahead with F2L like steps.

Haha MKWii is great but even better if you have CTGP.
Plus you get Funky Kong instead of Pink Gold Peach.

Good point. Funky Kong is a great character. Have you 100% MKW? I did it a while ago before I had MK8

CTGP is an unofficial but legal mod to MKWii that adds 200+ new tracks to the game for free as well as 200cc, Item Rain, and online.

Not sure this is what you mean, but I have 1st on all cups, all characters and vehicles, and have beaten all but two of the Nintendo expert ghosts.

I do like smash bros but I just love the mechanics of mkwii. Both incredible games though
