... I am just curious to know if anyone else has run into a problem purchasing puzzle cubes through online vendors? I'm not going to name any names of websites that I've gone to but I think that we can all surmise some stores from others without saying their names.
I have been burned three times now by purchasing from online site where people and businesses can advertise things for sale. I go to this site quite often I have purchased many different things including puzzle cubes.
Once Bitten Twice Shy they say, I have ever since Christmas been purchasing cubes from this site and am always expecting the item to arrive as described. Essentially this purchase I received gave me literally I'm mixed box. 1 puzzle I was excited to receive would be a colorful mirror Cube at a great bargain price oh, the second puzzle in my order a super Square One to replace the one that ...I think I accidentally got knocked into the trash can and is now gone forever, but never mind that.
Both listed as brand new...?
The uneven, bump or mirror cube feels chalky and sounds like a baby rattle! It's in a dangerous need of cube lube.
The other purchase is also in dire need of a cube tune up. Still, this Super Square-1looks so cool. It may be either vintage or from a European manufacturer. ( I suspect this from looking at other European Cube sites)
So, it's a bittersweet purchase this go around.
