I don't know what exactly you mean by a rough turning style, but I have a problem with being nervous in competitions, causing me to be very shaky and rough while handling the cube - I'm anything but smooth turning. I've found that my Valk M really helps with it - I'm much less likely to do stupid things with it than I've ever been with any other cube. It's not really that much better than some other cubes for me in normal solving at home (a little better - it's still a great cube), but in a competition it has an amazing positive effect on my solves.

The other cube that I would recommend (and that I have tried just recently) is the Yuxin Little Magic M. For me it was very stable and I liked it quite a bit for competing with in competitions.

Do you mean a pre-setup cube such as cubicle labs, or SpeedCubeShop Cosmic, or magnetizing it myself?

I think that any magnetized YLM will be just fine, so if you have one and want to magnetize if yourself then you can do that, but if you are going to order one (or a new one) then I would recommend that you get a set up one by thecubical or SCS.
