Stop motion videos using a grid of 25 Rubik's cubes

I gave you a follow on Instagram and I love your videos and even have a suggestion! I've always wanted to do stop motion videos like that and I was thinking one time that to keep the cubes stable and consistent through out the video, you could take magnets and secure them to the ground in an equal grid, spaced far enough out that when you take the bottom center cap off of the cube, then it will stick to the same place every time and you don't get that wiggle effect. Just something I think would be cool, but overall great videos!

Thanks for the follow! Using magnets actually sounds like a brilliant idea! Maybe it's time to start investing on this magnetic cube bandwagon

That is really neat :) How long does it take you to produce a video?

Depends on the video, but usually somewhere between 2 and 4 evenings of photo taking and an hour or so of post processing. Plus another few hours if you include the planning phase.
