Just got mine yesterday. Is there any cube out there that just doesn't need work out of the box. This this has to be taken apart lubed and retensioned And it could probably use some magnets as well

Every cube needs setup to reach its full potential. The out of box performance is pretty meh compared to that.
Why would you even care about the out of box performance? You will set the cube up if you care even the slightest about the puzzle/event.
