It's his most dominant WR average, almost a 5% faster than the next person in the ranking. I think it is very likely that he will get the single back in the following months.

THe first Skewb WR was on a Wednesday but it doesn't really count since it was the first time it was held.

Well done to Feliks I wonder how many more WRs there could be on the Lation Amercia Cubing Tour.

First WR on a Wednesday?

He's got to start cubing around the clock to keep up with the new comers :p:p:p

I would consider his 5x5 WR's more dominant (even though the average is only ~ 3.5 - 4%) because it is paired with his insane single and no one else has held that record in over 6 years.

Max Park is coming for him in the 5x5 though. His PBs at home are improving rather fast in the last weeks. The single of course will be very hard, but I don't think his 5x5 average is safe at all. The 7x7 average seems safer (at least as long as Max Park doesn't start getting serious about it too!).

Kevin or Max could easily beat this soon.;)

Same as above, Kevin is quite a good pretender to hold next 7x7 WR avg. He doesn't perform that well on comps though and I think Feliks will improve this to sub2:20 in the upcoming days.
Max on the other hand is not practicing 7x7 at all. He probably wants to get 3x3-5x5 WR first, which is not that easy for him as many people expected:oops:

Maybe people expected too much? I think Max Park has the potential to hold a good bunch of WRs one day, but it can't be as fast and in such a dominant way as when Feliks Zemdegs did it in 2010-2011, simply because records are too evolved today and competition is way fiercer. For Feliks, it was "easy" to get his first WRs, but it was hard to keep them as he had to improve them many times and by huge margins. For Max however nothing will be easy.

At home. Where you should be.
Feliks is getting insanely fast. I wonder who will win worlds. Feliks Zemdegs or Max park? Who do you think

P.S. Why aren't there many fans of Gans cubes? Feliks and Max park use them, and they were used to set both single and average WRs, so aren't they obviously good? I don't get all of the "Gans person" stuff.

We have managed to get to a time where the world holder's cube is considered the absoulute big for 3x3. Back in 2011-13 the Zhanchi was really the only option. There were the other Dayan cubes but other than that near to nothing. These days there are a lot of viable 3x3s and you can people should be able to get sub on any cube since the GuHong.

Because people are not that dumb to get fooled by such an obvious advertisment. There are many cheaper cubes with as good performance as Gans. Or even slightly better ;)
