Help me to find alternative for M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2 (I dont like M)

M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2 = F2 U L R' F2 L' R U F2, which I use, and i find it pretty fast.

:fp That is the noob algorithm.

hey, lots of people started with Allan, it's a great alg for beginners, really low move count. It's just a conjugated M U2 M' U2.

but seriously, either the RU ones, the Mu one that was posted a few posts back, or get used to doing Ms. cause these are the best cases.

hmm... i'm getting better for M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2 and i think i'll stay with this. My execution:
M2 (right hand ring + middle finger from bottom)
U' (left hand index finger)
M (right hand middle finger from bottom)
U2 (left hand index + middle finger)
M' (right hand ring finger from bottom)
U' (left hand index finger)
M2 (right hand ring + middle finger from bottom)

But for Ub (M2 U M U2 M' U M2), oh my.... the 2 times U really sick me. I'm pushing the U using left hand index finger which is really slow.

iniGOINGS, thank you so much for the link. I really like it. and your sample result is a plus! thumbs up :)

You're welcome!

The 2 best algs using only M', U', M2, and U2 are;

M2 U' M' U2 M' U2 M2 U' M2 U' M2 U2 M2
M2 U' M2 U2 M' U2 M' U' M2 U2 M2 U2 M2

so I suggest using one of the shorter ones that other people have listed above. Even though they use other turns as well, they are shorter, and faster.

Good luck!

Why are the restrictions limited to M2 M' U2 and U'.

Why not use an algorithm with R's and U's.

Also, I'm pretty sure that you can't do it any other way than with M or M'3. The reason is that the M's are used to swap edges, and at one point you have to bring the position down so that the edge can be moved into place. The only way to do this is with M'3 or M.
Hi, after using CubeSolver, it really exist :) Maybe i'm not explaining clearly, but this is one of the example:
M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2 = U2M2U'M'U2M'U2M2U'M2U'M2U2M2U' (15 moves)

Yeah... from 7 move to 15 is a big jump ;) But CubeSolver is really2 fun!

The 2 best algs using only M', U', M2, and U2 are;

M2 U' M' U2 M' U2 M2 U' M2 U' M2 U2 M2
M2 U' M2 U2 M' U2 M' U' M2 U2 M2 U2 M2
Good luck!
Eh, why I'm getting 15 moves? How you setup? I'm using 2 Min and 20 Max.

Oh! I always (well, almost) emit the AUF's before the algorithm, and always emit the AUF's after the algorithm. I also used 2 Min and 20 Max, but there were Us before and after the algorithms, so by removing them it went from 15 to 13. :)

If you really don't want to use that one, I'd just use R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R', which is the one I use. It's not a bad algorithm. I sub 1.50 with it and I'm pretty slow at PLLs. If you take over 4 seconds to do either though, you just need to practice.

I wasn't :fping at the algorithm, I was :fping at the comment that it was fast.

i have a friend who is sub 30 and uses that alg, i tell him he is dumb, but then again it took him 3 years to get to where it took me 5 months to get

currently i'm sub 2 for M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2 :)
i wonder why i cant get along with R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'. 2 times regrip. plus, it has 4 additional moves (1 additional secs?).

p/s: i really wish to have offline cubesolver :p
