My 6th official 26 single this year (one move from OcR), so I couldn't help but be a little ticked off, but I was still happy I could start off the mean strong :D I will say that the start I found was very lucky with very short linear blockbuilding, followed by a less crazy but still good finish. Cancelling 4 moves on a 3 corner skeleton is also a bit better than average. Curious what other people could find after the 9 move F2L-1 or maybe even using it in a different way ;)

Found this skeleton in the last 20 mins of the attempt, with the best thing I had found before that being 25 to 3. Could have explained the solution as all on inverse, but that's not how I saw it for some reason :p

Ridiculous start to the scramble, having a one move EO that preserved 3 pairs, combined with insane insertion luck with a total of 16 moves cancelled in 3 pure corner comms. Even though this was the first skeleton I found, I didn't think it would garner me anything better than maybe a mid 20 so I kept looking for other stuff. About 20 minutes in is when I decided to check insertions on this. As the insertion checking went on, I went from thinking I had a 25 to a 22 or a 23 to eventually realizing I had just found a 20. Very overwhelming given that I was going into this attempt wanting a long overdue sub 26, which would have been enough to at least tie OcR mean. Instead, I lowered both OcR's beyond what I thought I would :)

Nice mean :)

I used your blocks in a different way.
2x2x3+EO: L2 B L F L' F2 D R
6C: F' D' F2 D F' D2
IF gives me a 24 for that skeleton :)

Amazing. Not knowing the thread I was thinking in the morning how many moves one can cancel in a solve.
