With the reduction method on the 5x5 I always get stuck trying to finish the last two edges, usually I get lucky and figure it out, but it would be nice to have an alg to help out. Is there a good guide for doing this step and the parity fixes? Most videos I have seen do it really quickly, too fast for me anyway, and do not bother to write the algs down.

That's the link I was about to give. The "single edge flip" is all I bothered to memorize -- I do that once I recognize a parity problem. (Once the parity is fixed, cubies on 2 edges can be converted to cubies on 3 edges and solved all at once. If you need speed, you might learn more algorithms on that page.)
