Hey I need some help because I've had my Aolong for about 3 months and it's been great but the problem is the corner cutting. I've seen other people have this problem and people said loosen the tensions or tighten it and other methods but those have not worked. I've looked at the corner cutting and it seems the corner is getting caught on the center for some reason. Also since the corner is getting caught on the center I've been getting pops from even doing sexy move. I'll appreciate any suggestions and I really need this problem to be fixed since this cube is the only 3x3 speed cube I've got.

Pops? Don't you have it too loose? Cubes use to catch when are extremely loose, and if your aolong pops probably it is, I can't event take out a piece of mine without loosing a screw.

Thanks I've tightened it and it doesn't pop anymore but still catches on the center though and corner cutting hasn't changed and still can't do 45 with ease

Then, I don't know what's happening with those catches. About the corner cutting being barely 45º, is normal and you don't need so much.

I didn't realise but after further inspection the corner is actually getting caught on the bottom of the the center for some reason. You know anything to remove that issue?

Does it happen only with one corner? Maybe there is some flash or the three pieces aren't well assembled. I don't see another reason to those chatches, unless something is deffective.

I've checked and there's no flash so idk what it is. I'm starting to think that my cube needs lube

You'll have less catching at tighter tensions. Cutting 45 degrees is a lot and way more than anyone should ever need. If your cube cuts 30 degrees thats plenty. If you think you need more, you need to seriously concentrate on improving your turning accuracy.

Oh really huh guess not doing 45 cuts isn't an issue. Thanks a lot for saying that because I thought something was wrong with my cube.
