This seems really cool ^^
I haven't really spent much time with slide puzzles, but I think I'm gonna try a little anyway :)
Is it a white or black V-7?
How do I know how fast I need to be to win? :)

It's a white V-7
I try to update the highscore list daily (at least at the first time of the competition), so you can see what's the current time to beat.

The crystal ball was freaky at first. But then I figured it out.

Yes, it's amazing as long as you don't know how it works. I needed some time to find out how it works when I saw the crystal ball the first time (I found it on the website www.puzzle-shop.de).
I was more amazed when I tried it the second and third time. The first time I thought maybe there's always the same result. But when you try it with different numbers you get different results and also the symbol changes. This makes you think that the symbol depends on the number that you have thought.

By the way, I just saw that puzzle-shop.de (the website where I found the crystal ball) is now selling V-Cubes. V-Cube 6 for 40 Euro and V-Cube 7 for 50 Euro, and that prices are (unlike the prices at v-cubes.com) incl. tax!
And there are much lower shipping costs.

Based on my web statistics from December it will only take 2 months. December was a good month, especially at Christmas time I have more visitors than on average. If this contest will lead to more visitors on my site (which was the case at least at the first day) maybe it will only take a few weeks to reach 100000 visitors.

Does anyone know a speed solution to this puzzle? The way I'm doing it is LBL from top to bottom.

I don't care about moves, the important thing is look ahead during F2L ;)
Don't rush, go slow and look ahead :P

Did anyone beat my times yet?
When you do I will pick it up again!

So far there's been like 300-400 visits to the page today? That's not bad at all :)

I think sub-4 minutes is very possible and realistic. I just hope people realise it's not really worth the time your spending on it if you take it that far :)

And I know for a fact that the winning time won't be 8 minutes ;)

Good luck with the CPC challenge!
