Hello everyone. I just got into cubing a few months ago and am excited to learn more. It started when my stepdaughter wanted a cheap dollar store cube and my better half played with it more than she did and wanted one of her own. In my hunt to get her a nicer cube I saw a pyraminx and remembered having one as a kid and the love began to grow. I bought a couple Shengshou 3x3 speedcubes from lightake and a Shengshou Pyraminx and have been playing with those for a couple months now. I went from the Beginner's method on 3x3 and am now using CFOP and am at 1:50.48 on the prisma timer and at 13.38 on my Pyraminx. I don't really see myself as getting involved in competition so much as a personal challenge that I really enjoy 
I plan on getting a Megaminx and Skewb as my next puzzles and am also looking at a couple Face turning octahedrons. I'm also interested in possibly a few mods to my existing puzzles like the Florian mod and changing the hardware etc... I've been lurking and reading threads for about 2 weeks and figured I'd create an account and maybe ask a few questions I can't find answers to as well as meeting fellow enthusiasts.
