I broke my thumb last night during a drum solo. Went a little crazy. Done on traditional African hand drums at the ending of my school performance. A few of us got drum solos(It was a large group), and I guess I went a little too wild.

But the point is, I am out of cubing commission for a little while :(

oh don't be a sissy. I broke my 4th metacarpal on my right hand and still cubed (at the same speed, even improved). You'll do just fine.

I cut both my index fingers and still cubed.

I think you can still cube with two hands w/o a thumb.

I almost never use my thumb for cubing anyway.
Now it's a good time to get used to triggering with the index finger.

If you broke your right thumb, Do U' and F' with left index pull or right index push and vice versa if you broke your left thumb. R and L, you can do Emerson style. Everything else should be about the same. The only thing bad is for regripping, which you can also do Emerson style!

Edit: Emerson has 2 fingers, I'm not sure which ones, but you'd be fine just using index and pinky.
