I started cubing about 9 months ago (March - April of 2008), but never became an "enthusiast" until about three months ago (Where I learned Fridrich F2L and finally got my average to sub-70).
I just learned 2-Look PLL and BASICALLY 2-look oll (stupid headlights configuration is SO HARD TO MEMORIZE!!!), moving soon to 1-Look PLL and a faster look-ahead/TPS moveset to drop my average below 35 (My target by June of 2009).
After finally using YouTube to help me out with some special cases, (I love you BM and Thrawst) I actually decided to become an enthusiast (I was a beginner cuber using Dan Knight's Intermediate method >_>), and I'm very grateful I did.
Finding this forum has inspired me further to become the fastest cuber I can possibly be (hopefully sub-25~30), and I sincerely hope that my Winter Break (grade 12 here) will allow me to become even faster than I already am...

(Yes, there's a snowstorm up here right now, and yes, my house is in the middle of it).
Happy Holidays!
