So, new to the site (created this account ages ago but forgot about it til now haha) but not really that new to cubing. Started around 7-8 months ago, average now is around 22s with CFOP (2 look OLL, full PLL). Uhh been stuck here for a while, lookahead and f2l efficiency is pretty bad 8'D Currently trying to improve lookahead, pll recognition and learn some f2l algs for annoying cases. Here're a few solves from a few weeks ago I randomly found on my phone. (Those cube rotations and pauses tho; I look pretty awkward as well haha)

Oh, also I'm 17, Year 12, from Melbourne. Was gonna go to Cube for Cambodia this year but missed it in the end :'D. Next comp sits right in the middle of finals, so I'm planning to go to one sometime next year and hopefully compete (just hope I get to sub-20 by then)!

Um, what else. Well here's a pic of the little collection right now. Friend's going to give me his unused 2x2, 4x4 and 5x5 soon

Other than cubing I guess my interests include drawing, body mods and penspinning (which I'm horrible at)

Welcome! Looks like you know what you need to do to improve. You could also learn a few of the easy OLLs (you can actually learn about half of OLL without really trying, just look for an easy alg every day or two), but lookahead is really the most important thing, so keep practising that

Yes, it is. I still haven't finished it yet However the algs are much easier to learn than PLL. They're half the length, so it's not as bad as you'd think.
