cube types and colours

hey guys, I'm going to get a cube from cube4you.com

there is a lot of different types, a, b, c, or d, as well as many colours to choose from. What are some of the pros and cons of each type/colour?

A: fairly fast, great corner cutting, some pops, hard to tune well
D: super fast, ok corner cutting, starts out bad, easy to tune, low pops
Black: takes a long time to brake in
White: brakes in fast, doesn't last as long as black

Type C pieces are similar to those in storeboughts, though, id say the plastic is different, the shape is the same.

The thing I don't like about that thread is that it doesn't got into specific types from DIY, and so you'd either have to scavenge through the thread, or find find another. I'd choose the latter, as I've seen several threads over various types.
