Hi everyone,
I am a French speedcuber who discovered the fabulous world of cubes a few years ago now, back in 2010 I think. As I stopped during my earlier studies, I came back to speedcubing about 1 year ago for my first two competitions (in France and Andorra), and it really gave me motivation to continue and spend time on it. All the people I met were really cool and helped me improving, so I keep having more & more fun on it.
I'm really a newbie on this forum, for a few weeks I have only been looking at topics that interested me, but right now I wanna be part of it, for a few reasons. I live in Munich, Germany (for about 24 hours now), as I will work as an intern until 5 months to achieve my engineering degree. So this is really an opportunity for me to meet people around Germany concerning cubes and the German language, as I don't speak German very well. Then maybe taking part of comps in Germany or Austria!
Finally, just to give you an idea, I avg around:
- 17 at 3x3 (best at 11"95)
- 5-6" at 2x2, usually with Ortega but I just learned Guimond and I am interested in CLL to progress
- 1'10 at 4x4 with Yau
- 3'30 at 5x5 (I terribly suck at 5x5 , but I keep working on it )
- I started 3BLD in December, just to achieve one before the end of 2014 and now I am addicted to it
. My best sg is around 2'20" and I am currently learning how to use comms for corners to switch to 3-style. My memo is still VERY bad but I keep practising
After getting REALLY better and more regular, I will try 4BLD, but that's not for the moment yet
- I kinda like Pyraminx, I avg around 10" but I don't practise very much
- I just discovered Sq1 and kinda like it also. But I can't solve it by myself completely yet, only the BTC step
If you have any questions, it would be a pleasure to answer them
See you,
Bis bald,
Jugurtha
