hi, my name is cashis and I've had this account for about a month but haven't been active enough to make this. I've been cubing for almost two years, and only seriously for about 4 months.
I'm sub-20, but barely, and know full OLL and PLL and am gonna learn Roux soon.
my pb is 14 or so and ao5 is 17, and I need to work on look ahead in f2l.
I also do 4x4 with Hoya and am (barely ) sub-1, im sub 2 on 5x5, sub 3 on 2x2, sub 2:40 on 6x6 and sub 3:30 on 7x7. I dont do any other events, but I've never gone to a competition because there are none anywhere near Louisiana. sorry for the unorganized post(: and hello speedsolving forums

Welcome!
Do you practice 2x2 a lot? Because your 3x3 times are slow compared to your 2x2 times. (I don't mean slow as in not fast, but as in you would be placed around 6000th in the world for 3x3 and around 140th for 2x2 if you went to a competition).

Welcome to the forums!

If you want to go to a competition, you can go to on in February in San Marcos, TX. (If you are willing to take the drive)

Seems very normal phrasing.

Welcome, your 2x2, 6x6 and 7x7 times are really fast, do you focus on those?

Well, honestly I dont practice any of them very much. I'm good at learning algorithms, which is how I picked up on 2x2 so quickly, and I guess I'm decent with big cubes, but I only do maybe an ao100 every week or so

I might just go, thats not that far of a drive, depends on what gas prices do between now and then;)

haha, I dont really practice much for 2x2 but my turnspeed is fairly fast, and I know most of the necessary algs (eg), so I guess it comes naturally. I'm not really that interested in 2x2, though (I find it boring), so even when I can go to a competition. The main reason my 3x3 isn't up to par with 2x2 and even 6x6 and 7x7 is my look ahead, which kinda sucks, but its getting better. look ahead during reduction comes better than on 3x3 stage, for me at least

The order you have them makes it sound somewhat like your 2x2 times are around 3 minutes.

And now I'm gonna get replies saying that's obviously not what he meant.

haha sorry and yeah they are sub 3 minutes and sub 3 seconds(:
