What's the difference between a megaminx and a holey megaminx?

None of those are a "Meffert's Minx". Minx can mean a lot of things.
I got the one on the first link you gave, and I like it a lot.
I have never tried an Edison (I've heard good things), but I think an AI is okay. Just get whatever you feel like.

  5. Sorry.. Meffert's MEGAMinx. :D

I'm pretty sure those are all the same megaminx, but with things included/not included in the package.

If you just want a minx, get the first one.

If you would like a minx with superglue in case the tiles fall off, get the second. It also comes with lube.

If you would like to glue the tiles on yourself so that you can have your own color scheme (also, sometimes the gluing job isn't great, so doing it yourself may fix that problem) then get the third one.

Not in particular. I will tell you that if you get the AI, then don't expect it to be the best speedcube out of the box. It took me 2 weeks (maybe 3) of breaking in to get the dang cube good. It was worth it tough :D

As for the Edison, I have no experience from them. I hear people say they're really good, but heavy (?). I've also heard people say they're pretty bad.

read this to see what one of the edison distributors had to say about edisons. That's one of the reason's I'm not planning on buying an edison.

As for my question, what do you guys think about the f-II? Does it wear out like I hear the F-I did?

Also, how about the C-II compared to the F-II. I'm not sure which one I should get.

Has anyone ever reconstructed any sub 50 megaminx solvers, such as Yu Da Hyun, Louis Cormier, or Simon Westlund? If so, could you link me to the reconstructions?

Do people learn full 2 look OLL (EO->CO) and PLL (CP?->EP?)for megaminx ? How many cases are there anyway?

Currently I'm using EO->EP->CO->CP for megaminx. Where should I go from there?

Her site doesn't have all the CPLLs though... Especially the 5 cycles.
