Anyone knows the move to orient the center piece of the last layer?
I already know the move to orient the center 180 degrees but the problem is how if it is 90 degrees?

@rick

that page doesn't have the algo for the 1 center piece orientation (90 degrees)

The M E M' U M E' M' will fix the center piece of the last layer but will turn the center piece of the left side into 90 degrees >.<

The bottom layer center piece is thurned just 90o (and the other centers are good):
Before you try to solve this problem, first look araund the cube, and if you find one more centers thurned, you can use super 3x3x3 algorithms!

Solution: Hold the 2 special corners at ULF and URB and change the FUR corner, and the FR edge to the same one from the bottom layer! After this you must solve the bottom layer again!

Algorithm: I havent got a good algorithm for this, but if we solved the corners firs, than it is no matter where the bottom layer adges are. So we can use the 2 edge PLL solution.

You can use the t-perm to orient center pieces.

(R U R' U')(R' F)(R2 U' R' U')(R U R' F')
will rotate the center piece on the u layer 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
doing t-perm twice rotates it 180 degrees.

if you have two centres that need to be roteated 90 degrees each, just do the t-perm once on the first side, then slice the second center piece to the top layer and do another t-perm.

if a centre piece needs to rotate clockwise simply use the mirror of the alg above:
(L' U' L U)(L F')(L2 U L U)(L' U' L F)

examples:
centre piece on u and f layers need to rotate 90 degrees ccw:
(t-perm) M' (t-perm) M

centre piece on u needs to rotate 90 degrees ccw, cenrte on f 90 degrees cw:
(t-perm) U2 M' (mirrored t-perm) M U2

hope you get the point :)

I've generally found that with this puzzle, your best bet is to solve the last layer EO EP CP CO. Using this, you can simple do EP around the center so you end up with the appearance of two swapped edges rather than a rotated center. Play around with the edge orientations a bit, and you're good to go.

I'm using Raffael's algo now, that algo to orient the center piece 90degrees should be done before CO and CP. :)

I can solve the cube now because of it :)

(R U R' U) (R U R' U) (R U R' U) (R U R' U) (R U R' U)

That's the algo to turn the center piece 180 degrees

I got a new way on how to turn the 90 degrees center piece
It's a bit long but it's worth it

counterclockwise turn
L2 B' U2 R U' L' U R' U2 L U' L' U2 L U2 B L2

NOTE: The arrows of the cross should be pointing up.

Thanks to kazah007 from youtube :)
