It's been a while since i've been here. Anyway, I came up with an idea for a website and was hoping you guys would give me some input.
Im planning on setting up a video sharing website where users challenge each other to cubing.
I know, I know, BORING. BUT there is a twist to it.
People would have profiles; the site will be very similar to other video sharing websites.
A person (assuming people on this forum would know each other via the Internet/forums/competitions) would challenge another person to solve a cube in a rather peculiar way. I have seen videos on youtube of people solving the cube underwater, upside down, while spinning, etc etc. Im sure most of you would think up more interesting, SAFE challenges.
Here would be an example:
I challlenge ABC to cube UNDERWATER, achieve an average of X out of 3 solves. Obviously not all the solves at once because that can cause harm. There will be rules applied such as the recording needs to be all in one shot so no editing can be done prior to submission. The person has to accept the challenge first, and then from that day he/she accepts the challenge, the person is given a time frame to complete the challenge.
IF the person completes the challenge, a panel of judges would determine if it is Complete (I need to gather this panel of judges). Then, the user would be rewarded with points.
If this site generates revenue, i will be more than happy to include prizes for the accumulated points. BUT for starting off, it will all be only for pure fun and games.
