Corebreak
| ||||||||||||||||||||||
Introduction
The Corebreak method is a big cube method proposed by Signalcuber in 2022.
Steps
- 1. Make the white center
- 2. Make any other center except yellow and connect the two centers with a cross edge.
- 3. Extend to 4x4x4 block (on a 5x5 cube).
- 4. Extend to 4x4x5 block (on a 5x5 cube).
- 5. Make the last cross edge and any UR edge.
- 6. Solve the centers using keyhole.
- 7. Solve the 6 last edges.
- 8. Solve the cube like a 3x3.
- 8a. On 4x4, do the parity alg if needed.
White center
First, do the middle center bar. Next, do the two side center bars. and normally, you have the white center done. Put it on the bottom face of the cube.
Other center + line
Solve any other center except yellow. You need to solve it (the second center) without messing up the first one. Now, to connect the two centers together, make the cross edge between them.
Extension
Now that you got the "line", extend it to a 3x3x3 block (if you are on a 4x4) by solving any other remaining center except top and back, making a connection between the bottom center and the new center with a cross edge and solving F3L-1 between the second and third center (if you are on 4x4, because on bigger cubes, the "3" in F3L-1 will grow up. e.g.: for a 5x5, the "3" becomes a "4", so it's F4L-1).
Second extension
Just repeat the step before but with a new center.
LCE+UR/E (last cross edge+UR edge)
Solve the last cross edge.and any other edge. You will put the second edge you made in the UR spot.
2LC (2 last centers)
Rotate your cube so that the last cross edge you made is on the DF spot. Do an F move and solve the 2 last centers with keyhole : to turn the upper face, do : R U* R' . To rotate the front center, do : L F* L' . To do a fat sune, start with a wide move, but continue with side slice moves.
LSE (last six edges)
Use whatever edge pairing method you want.
Redux finished with Double X-Cross
There's only two pairs to do! Yay!
