Alyz is a Flip Clock method. This method has no D moves and consists of memorizing 4 to 5 numbers to use Simul moves in execution, consisting in 10 moves in total.

Tutorial

The memo is simple since you just have to do the same 2 numbers memo in both faces with an optional number for AUF:

  • M1: R to U
  • M2: U to C
  • Flip with x2
  • M3: R to U
  • M4: U to C
  • (Optional) M5: -R + (L to C)

Tip: The method creator suggests to memorize M5 as R + (C to L) and then just invert the +/- signal.

After memorization step, execute from current position:

  • UR(C to D)
  • R(M1, C to L)
  • ul(M2, M5 (or R to 12))
  • x2
  • UR(C to D)
  • R(M3, C to L)
  • ul(M4, C to UL)
  • Solve corners like in Flip method

This method is really versatile since it can be incorporated with the Flip method to do as many Simul moves you want with just changing how many numbers you'd memorize and solving the rest just like in Flip, being a method with one of the best learning curves and having a lot of potential at high levels. It can also be sculpted to fit practically any common pin order.

Pros

  • No D moves
  • One of the easy memorization within clock methods with one optional number
  • Can be incorporated with Flip method at any degree
  • Practically any lucky case can be taken advantage from

Cons

  • 10 moves while most no flip methods has 9 or below
