Cross step -> Cross cube state -> Steps after a Cross (as the F2L step) The Cross cube state is the cube state between the Cross step and the Steps after a Cross (as the F2L step).

The Cross cube state is the cube state where a cross is solved on one side. It's a famous cube state for many methods.
