The Rex Cube is a more advanced version of the Ivy Cube, inspired by the Dino Cube, invented by Andrew Cormier and produced by Mefferts. In 2021, Qiyi released a stickerless version with slightly different piece shapes called the Super Ivy Cube, which would later be used as a base to make speedsolvable Face Turning Octahedrons.
