The steps in this method are as follows:

  1. Complete a mock cross by placing and solving 3 edges on the D layer (leaving 1 cross piece unsolved)
  2. Complete all F2L corner-edge pairs go into F2L-1C state.
  3. Solve the corners using CLL or COLL if the edges are somehow oriented
  4. Solve the remaining 5 edges using L5EOP algorithms
