Zayn Khanani WR Fail?

As you can see in the picture below, Zayn got a 1.02 average (still the 4th best 2x2 average ever iirc), but he got a DNF, and since he was counting a 0.82 and a 0.99, I'm wondering what the DNF would've been, because maybe if he didn't DNF this could have been WR.

Without DNF, would have been 0.94 (WR2)
technically a WR2 fail
