If it's not clear, the idea is
1: Setup to U R U' R' insert for last pair
2: Solve that pair + all corners, leaving EPLL.

Here are 10 examples:

Scramble: U' R U R L2 D' L2 U F2 L2 D' R2 B2 D2 L2
WV setup: U F R ' F' R
WV+CPLL: y' U' R' U R' D' R U' R' D R U R
Move total: 17 QTM

Scramble: R U2 R D2 B2 R D2 R F2 U2 L2 D' L2 U' L D U F2

To me it seems like it might be worth learning. However there are 54 (WV) * 6 (CPLL) = 324 cases. If you get a WV+CPLL case you can solve, then you will skip EPLL 1/12 times. You could potentially get some very decent singles 1/12th of the time. But this is assuming that you have good EOLL control and it's worth setting up to WV.

There are no algs anywhere available afaik, I only generated algorithms for cases that I ran into, whilst creating these examples.

You could just ignore EO, do potentially shorter algs to insert the pair and do CP, and end with ELL.
I have thought of this before, and the suggestion above in an attempt to make it easier to learn, but decided that it wasn't worth it for 324 cases. However, if there was some way to avoid having all 324 cases and somehow influence something to reduce alg count, then it could maybe be useful, but I still can't see anyone switching to it as a method.

Is ELL actually nice? Obviously pure 3-cycles are great, but I've never looked at the rest of the cases.

Nah, for the most part ELL is relatively bad. There are a few nice ones to learn like M' U' M2 U' M U2 M' U' M' and the inverse, and say, R' U2 R U' R' U' R' F R2 U R' U' R' F' R2, but quite a few cases are really long and/or not that ergonomic. I think with a ton of practise you could get them all to around 1.3~ish average though...

I think if you took a mixed approach with this (learning all the algs and the 2 edges oriented ELL cases) it could be good, but having a strict system that involves those 4 edges misoriented cases would be a bad idea. Also, from experience a lot of WV+CPLL cases will take a lot of work to get good algs for (some of the ones that preserve CP are looong).

I don't know full ELL; I only know 9 cases (other than EPLLs): the 3-cycles, adj flip solved/H/one Z, opp flip and 4-flip H. Those are all quite nice (except adj flip H, which is (M' U M U)3). I don't think it's better than EPLL, but the WV-CP step will be better. Thinking about it now, all ignoring EO does is give you more algs to learn and may not actually make the solve faster...

I only just noticed something a bit stupid. For the 3rd to 8th examples, I used a standard WV alg to solve the WV+CPLL case. It's just a coincidence. Sorry, maybe I'll make more examples to compensate for this.

What about CP+EOLS? VHLS has 32 cases, and covers both split pair and pair cases, so you could use it every time. 32*6=192, and then 2GLL is 84(85?) cases, so that's 276 in total, all of which you can use every solve, as opposed to 1/8 of the time. :) If you wanted to take away the split pair cases, that would make it 180 cases in total. Yes, you wouldn't be nearly as lucky, but it's a lot less algs and 2GLL isn't much slower than EPLL.

except adj flip H, which is (M' U M U)3

A decent alg that's long, but it's ridiculously easy to remember and pretty fast:

(adj edges in back left) (R U R' U') y (R U R' U') (R' F R F') (L' U2 L)

I think it might be easier to setup to R U2 R' instead so you can have a better look at all LL corners. Also it seems that quite a few standard WV algs start with U2 anyway (one third from here: http://rowe.cubing.net/rls/wv.php).

My normal grip covers DFR so recognition with that corner would be tricky for me, sticking to the remaining 3 LL corners for recognition would be better - especially when they aren't in the back or something.

It should still depend on the case though, some cases might be nice and easy and might make AUFing unnecessary for recognition.

Algs for all 6 CP cases, for the all corners oriented case (setup: L' U2 R U' R' U2 L)

1. U R U' R' U R U2 R2' U' R U' R' U2 R (setup: R' U2 R U R' U R2 U2 R' U' R U R' U')

2. F x R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 x' U' R' (setup: x R B R2 D2 R U R' D2 R U' )

3. R' D' R U2 R' D R U2 R U' R' (setup: R U R' U2 R' D' R U2 R' D R)

4. R' D' R U R' D R U' R U' R' (setup: R U R' U R' D' R U' R' D R)

5. U2 L' U2 R U' R' U2 L U' (setup: U L' U2 R U R' U2 L U2)

6. L' U2 R U R' U2 L (setup: L' U2 R U' R' U2 L)

Why not generate all the algs for the easy cases and leave out the rest?
(I recommend the L' U2 R U R' U2 L case for recognition?)

EDIT I should read all the posts next time.
