Why do people dislike the dayan M 2x2

So I've been using the dayan tengyun M as my 2x2 main for a while, and I was wondering why so few people use it as their main, especially at a world class level, and generally don't give it praise. Is there something bad about it compared to other 2x2's that I haven't noticed?

As far as I’m aware the Tengyun is a solid 2x2, it’s just generally not favored over the Valk, Gan, and MGC puzzles

It needs stronger springs to be good. I have one with custom strong springs from Pi Cube and it’s amazing. Its on par with my Valk 2 with MGC springs but I just like my Chuwen M better

it's not bad, it just not as good as other cubes. world class 2x2ers definitely would choose the better ones even though the differences are small to gain even the smallest amount of time
