Im fine with that, but just DONT use vaseline/petroleum jelly!
I experienced this when I lubricated a storebought cube, and it dissolved it from the inside out! Now it pops with like every turn

I use Jigaloo and it works great. My friend has used CRC and jigaloo and both work well so just go get one from Home Depot or any hardware store.

no! Jig-a-loo melts the plastic! NEVER disassemble a cube, spray it with jig-a-loo, then just let it dry! You have to take A FEW cubies out, spray, then work it in evenly, so it doesn't just puddle up and melt the plastic.

On the contrary, I lubricated my 3x3x3 with Vaseline for a month before I was told it was bad. My storebought is now one of the best many people have ever tried. Breandan Vallance mistook it for a Type-C at the UK open.

I doubt this is a re-curring thing but vasline isn't cube-destroyingly bad.
