Which is more important lookahead or predicting the first f2l pair?

Hi. I avarage about 17.5, and I want to be sub 15 by the end of July. I have efficient f2l, good cross and fairly good LL and decent lookahead, I watched jperm's sub 15 vid and he mentioned cross to f2l transition. I have been doing hand scrambles for the last 2 days and predicting where the first pair will end up in and sometimes solve the pair as well if I get an easy cross. But today I went back to solving and for some reason I can't even predict where my pair will be. Should I continue practicing cross+1 or should I make better lookahead.

lookahead in F2L is more important IMO, cross + 1 just makes lookahead easier.

I am sub 11.5 without predicting first pair, I think for you there are other things to focus on at the moment (for example F2L pair solution)

if you have not learned full oll and pll I would suggest learning them

umm no. you don't even need full PLL or full OLL to be sub 15.

Yeah, that's very helpful, but if you don't want, no one's forcing you to learn full PLL.

Yeah, if he wants to, but he didn't say that he wanted to be sub 9 yet, he says he wants to become sub 15.

If you have completed that much, then if you want, it's worth it to learn the 6 OLLs.
